Mission Impossible 4 - Ghost Protocol. Ultimate dose of action

MI 4
Cast: - Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Puala Patton, Anil Kapoor( Baal kalakaar in guest appearence)
Running Time :- Approx 2 hours

Before writing anything I want to put a disclaimer that I like action movies and I am sort of a fan of MI movies. Though I was not able to understand Mission Impossible One and there was hardly anything to understand in other two instalments still I like the way action and technology is represented in MI movies more like american version of James Bond but without limitations of suit and tie.

Finally coming to the movie, only one line is enough, completely worthy of watching in cinema hall. From the very first scene action starts and till the last it continues. Success of an action film can be measured by the moments which can shake you while sitting on your comfortable seat and believe me MI -4 has many moments like this where unexpected happens.

Film starts with death of an IMF agent and escape of Ethan hunt (Tom Cruise) from the moscow prison with the help of his newly formed team consisting of a female agent Jane (Paula Patton) and a computer specialist Benji(Simon Pegg). Ethan is asked to lead the team on his new mission to get a file from moscow archive to intercept a secret. From there on everything happened wrong for them and set the base for the rest of film

I dont want to reveal what ever happened there after as it all may dilute the effect of the film and I did not read the story of the film although it is available in full on wikipedia :). Just wanted to say there is continous action from moscow to dubai and finally India.

There are so many moments that make me feel like I have got worth of my money. The action level kept on rising with every scene. Prison escape was not that much of full packed action but later on destruction of kremlen, murder of IMF secretarty and the best scenes at Burj khalifa in dubai outclassed the previous scene. Spider man act of Tom cruise on burj khalifa with one hand from 130th floor and sand storm coming in backend along with occassioal slipping of hands from a height of 2000 ft made my heart miss a beat some times. Even if that is not enough coming back from such a height by running on the glass was an exceptional stunt.

All this happened till interval and as in first hour itself so much action of high voltage has happened, there cant be anything better in second half. Pace dips and so as action. This time team of ethan hunt got their part of action too. William Brandt (Jeremy Renner) an IMF agent disguised as an analyst, got the chance to do the famous mission impossible scene of hanging vertical to ground which Tom Cruise has repeated in all of his MI movies but this time with no strings and above a gigantic running fan. Even in the climax, mumbai parking lot has been shown like that of international standard which has not been shown even in hindi movies till now. However climax is bit extended and fight of an old strategist with expert IMF agent looks enforced when we know that our super hero will save us any how.

Talking about story there is nothing to talk. There is same beaten to death story of probable nuclear attack from which our heroic team want to save the world. A new flavour of comedy included this time with benji in place of luther(in previous movies) as a computer specalist. There are some conversations between Benji and Brandt which will put smiles on your face especially the dialogue of brandt after dangerous stunt that "Agli baar ladki wala kaam main karunga(Next time I will seduce the rich guy"). However when movie is so highly paced with so much happening around we are least concerned about the story.

Samething can be said about technology. Computer securities are broken like a decoding of school boy project. Iphones have been used for unlocking access doors, Ipad has been used for highest quality 3-D views, contact lenses has been used as scanner and printer. Touch screen phones have been used as tracker and even computer hackings. We cant say anything apart from wasting oyr mind on how all this is possible.

Talking of acting, Tom cruise is perfect in the role of ethan hunt and no one can think of any one else in his role though he started to look quite old and watching him shirtless was quite a pain. Simon pegg provided comic relief and Paula patton looked beautiful and quite effective in her action scenes. Jeremy Renner as an ex-IMF agent filled with guilt for himself for his past mistakes was effective too in action scenes. Anil kapoor played a very brief version of what he is doing from a long time in hindi movies, playing a role of rich business man having eyes on each and every beautiful woman.

All in all, illogical story, out of world techonology and unseen high voltage stunts make this a highly effective film. Some scenes will remain in memory for a long time. So if you are a mission impossible fan you can't dare to miss it seeing on large screen as you dont know when the next installment will come and that will have tom cruise or not.

HIGH FIVE to ELTP 614

I am bit late in congratulating but its always better to be late than never. 6th November 2006. This date might not be holding any importance to the most of the world. But this is one of the most important date in the life of a small bunch of people grouped as ELTP 614. On this day, all the people of this bunch started their professional life completely different from what they have experienced in their life before this date. And this year on 6th November 2011, we became FIVE years experienced. FIVE is quite an important number. 5 wickets for a bowler, 5 years for a government, 5 years for a scheme, 5 fingers in a hand, 5 senses and list can keep on going. But 5 years for a software engineer means he is officially eligible for Team Lead position in most of the organizations :). Some of you might have already become TL even before 5 years, some might be going to become soon and some may become in 1-2 years, but this 5 year tag has made us eligible for the time when we can lead others with our expertise and skills which we have acquired in these 5 years.

These 5 years were not easy. We have been to different locations, fightings for the projects and work. Trying to prove ourselves to our seniors, putting our full efforts to everything thrown to us whether it was documentation or trainings. Most of us being from non-computer background found it difficult to adjust to the alien domain, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING and it was not easy for those from Computers also as it was very different from what they have learnt in their academics. But in the end, we came out as a person who can survive in any working conditions with any quantity or type of work still trying to give our best.

The start of all this was not easy too. Let me try to go 5 years back.

For most of us (Punjab & Haryana)  it started from Chitkara college. For rest also I believe the process might have been the same less or more. It was in summer I believe 7th and 8th July 2006 before our final results were out. For chitkara students, it was a On campus while for rest it was a regular off-campus. You can say it is an irony for small colleges but it makes them flexible and hard working too as they have to travel a lot to even appear for an entrance.
First day was a casual entrance exam with objective questions. I just answered 8 out of 15 and dont know how I got through. I dont know whether it was volume of students or slowness in the management, they were able to announce the result by evening only. People who got selected were excited as well as nervous as next round was next day only. Some stayed nearby to the college and some like me went back to home for 4-5 hours in the night. I was not able to sleep as I need to move again after spending some hours on my bed. Unfortunately, it started raining the next night and that too very heavily. I reached bus stand at 4 AM in the morning riding on my bicycle with one hand and holding umbrella in the other. At that time I wished that I would not have selected in the first round and just because of my parents I put so much efforts for the second day.

Next day was GD round and interview. My first GD and I knew one thing, never argue and speak when ever get some chance and that too diplomatic as everything has some positives and negatives and you should never be biased. Aditi Rhency and I was in same group and both got selected. For interviews, I waited for around 8 hours. People in my room keep on disappearing and remaining keep on reading. Only one advantage was there that I was from non-computer background so there was no reason for reading as I did not know anything. In the end from my room, only 3 people remained, everyone almost confirmed that there is no chance now but finally interview happened and after some time it was confirmed that I have been short listed finally.

Even after getting short listed, Satyam was too slow in providing appointment letter and all this results in stress in the minds of all who have cleared it and as a result our first group got created even before joining. A community on Orkut. This was our first communication medium and all of us kept on raising doubts in each others' mind but still it always gave the feeling that some one is there who is like us. Now our community on Orkut is almost dead and that happened much before people stopped using Orkut. May be because we are closer to each other or we have moved very far away. None the less finally we got the joining date along with offer letter and as I was not able to get any relevant job in my field, first time in life I had to step out of my home for such a long distance and such a long stay. My father accompanied me along with Vinay to hyderabad. There were lots of concerns about the medical examination but finally it was also done successfully. In the induction we went through the Satyam's policies and joining formalities for 2 days. We might have joined many companies but most of us will still agree that Satyam's induction was the best induction which we have seen though we might not have made so much signatures on papers as we did in Satyam's induction.

Then comes 6th november 2006 when our training finally started. New environment, new people. Lots of excitement and loads of tension. None of us was expert in software engineering. Some of us knows a bit and some of us were completely novice. Training for 2-4 days on each subject and after that examination, failure of which result in re-appearance. Arrangement of dumps, cramming them sitting in the night made the day similar to college but many a times stressful than those exams where we used to get 6 months for exams.

We tried helping each other in the exams to the best of our capacity and thus become friends for life. Dorms were allocated and most of us moved to them to get more time to study and avoid waking up early in the morning around 4 AM like me, Kamal and abhishek who were still staying in our  PG cum home. Getting up in half sleep, taking bath and running for bus in front of Anand theater was a regular routine. Some times we felt that people staying in Dorms were much better. We had to reach bahadurpally and stay there in training room where as people in dorms enjoyed the facility to sign the register and moved back to their rooms.

Some how all of us completed first month training and were allocated to PeopleSoft which was advertised as one of the best domain from the career prospective and we had no choice here also and accepted it with happiness. Some other friends from CSE domain also joined us along with laterals.

PeopleSoft training was a different chapter itself. Out of 2 months training, we hardly got training for 15 days effectively and that too for some hours everyday. There was complete lack of trainers or I must say lack of trainers who were interested in training us. Training started with all of us failing in SQL exam except 3 people. In peoplesoft we tried to grasp the fundae of Purnendu pandey and the great Inderjeet kang who keep on repeating the name of RAGHU to scare us. Every morning they used to come and tell us Raghu or Satya might come and may test our knowledge and can move us to some older technology. There are random information about some trainer which might come or might not come. No one can forget NINE STEPS of application design in the whole life. Such was the greatness of Inderjeet sir :).

Crawling with the course, we some how got the training completed. Lots of memories of staying late in labs, eating food in cafeteria, watching a part of Rang de Basanti in auditorium, team outing with games and final cultural eve. I might not be an active partner in all these but what ever be the participation level, all these memories have sweet spot of their own in mind.

Finally, separation procedure started. It was a very controversial in its own way and I dont want to say anything for that but yes there was lots of drama involved. Lots of swapping, medical certificates, reasons for staying in hyderabad and lots of acting by none other than highly talented Inderjeet and Purnendu. In the end, a group was selected to move to chennai. Everyone was having sympathy for us like we were going to exile. Lots of tears shed for us by our friends who stayed behind in hyderabad. But we had to move and we moved to another unknown place, second time in 3 months.

After some struggle, we got settled in chennai too. Some got projects, some were on bench. Same was the condition in Hyderabad. Still many of us kept in touch of each other. In 2 years of time, all of us got something or else to learn to survive in the industry. As soon as our Satyam's bond got over, many of us left the organization for higher salaries or location constraints which is the only lifeline for software engineers and many of us were finally forced to leave Satyam because of scam by our beloved RamaLinga Raju.

Coincidently and luckily for raju, Just 1 day before our 5 year completion, he got bailed out of jail. Currently we all are in different companies, different locations. Some are in the country, some are out of country. Some have left software engineering and did MBA. But one thing everyone will agree that all of us are unique and have one or other quality which make us different from all other software engineers. We are moody at times and dedicated at the other time. It gives a very good feeling when I come to know that I have some one or the other of our batch working in almost all the companies and covering almost all the locations. We may be out of touch for years but still keep on enquiring about each other. Many of us became very good friends and still there is seem less bonding between us.

There are lots of lots to say, unlimited memories are there and a book can be written for that. But in the end I just want to wish all of us again for successful completion of this milestone. May GOD keep on showering HIS love on all of us and we keep on progressing in our life both professionally and personally.

Cheers to one of the best PeopleSoft professionals.

Most Imp Seven Steps of Devesh - Exclusively for ELTP 614(Now Open for all :))

As mentioned in Title, this blog is exclusively for my ELTP batch from which I was the only person present in the marriage of our batch mate Devesh Arora. Devesh has the honour of being my room mate for the longest tenure of time, more than 2 years in Noida. Marriage was going to happen in Patiala, home town of devesh, so it was again tough time for me to travel to such a long distance and that too on Wednesday(12th October) directly from office and alone again :(. Any how I have decided for that 1 month back that I will attend the marriage.

On the marriage day, went to office in the morning. Although thought to reach office around 8 AM and finish the work. This is pure torture on a lazy person to have such an early office timings and no doubt again reached late. Tried to wrap up some urgent work, left lunch and work in the end and ran to room for my bag. Changed clothes, picked up bag and gift for the couple bought just 2 days back. Its a common phenomenon that when ever you are getting late, everything becomes slow. My rickshaw puller took me to metro station with his possible lowest speed giving side to each and every vehicle even stopping by the side of road showing genuineness. Finally when I reached metro station just a little more than 1 hour before of DLI BTI express leaving Delhi station, checking staff of metro become aware of their duty and asked me to unpack the gift. Usually they don't even check me but at that time I was a probable terrorist to them. Finally when I told them I work in Accenture and show them the accenture bag, I was finally allowed to go with out opening the gift pack. There is sure advantage of working in a known company.

Luckily I reached Delhi station on time and took my seat. Both unluckily and expectedly, my seat was not a window seat as mentioned in the ticket and unexpectedly train was full even on Wednesday. As soon as I had a seat in train, got a call from Devesh's best friend and neighbour asking for my location and told me that he will be there to receive me. When some thing like this happens, it always feels good that some one is caring for you. In the whole journey I kept remembering the time when we were flatmate or rather room mate. Some times it feels bad when your good friends are no longer eligible for being your room mate again in life. My as usual boring journey ended in around 5 hours and I reached Patiala around 7:30.

On reaching station, I called Gurpreet, devesh's friend and meet him after some delay. Delay is normal when ever you are having most of the responsibilities in your friend's marriage. Surprisingly, two of our birlasoft colleagues were also there in the car, Manoj and Aveek. Must say they were his better friends in Noida than me. They drove me devesh's home directly and have to change shirt in car only :(. Though my face is not good at all still did not get chance to even wash that. Entered his home for a minute and in the other minute, Devesh was ready to his first and perhaps the only ride of mare. I took out the camera and take a snap of the rarely laughing devesh enjoying the celebrations being done for him only.
Marriage is one of the rare day when a
man really feels that he is a king and every one is giving importance to him. Devesh was also feeling like a king regularly raising his sword in the air. After walking with him for some distance, I decided to go back to the friends with whom I have come there. They were leaving for the marriage hall, when I asked them to stop and got fit into the car. Men have one unique feature of trying to celebrate with or with out reason and most of them have only one way of doing that. Ironically they have the same way of showing their sadness too. So after this common way for some time i.e. boozing in the car, we reached near the marriage hall from where Baraat was going to leave means devesh was going to ride the mare again. Just to clarify, I don't take alcohol and so did not taste here also :).

People in the marriage were not large in number and
this is the thing which I personally find good. Though
it feels nice when so many people just want to see you and talk to you still I believe its very hard to please so many people as the families involved in marriage are not able to attend each and every one personally resulting in bitterness in relations. The pic on the right hand side is of the baraat walking in the mid of the road to the final destination of bachelor life of our hero of the day.
This is also the most nervous time for me as at this time all the people knowing you in the marriage try to drag you for dance and I am seriously very bad in dancing. Being a bad photographer, it becomes tougher to take quality snaps too. While our jalsa was progressing slowly with ladies and boys dancing in slow motion, I took a round to marriage palace. To give the feeling to groom of king, now a days they call it palace.

Raj Kamal Palace as shining in the picture was quite silent at the moment as our hero has not reached there. I just waited outside it so that all the people can come and I get the chance to enter :). Outside the hall there were lots of cracker going in the air. In between, my eyes had a look of Devesh sitting on his mare. Looking quite happy but he is one of the person which does not give you a chance to see what is going on in his mind. Though spending some time with him, I have some idea that he has accepted that he is now going to be married and today is the last day of most of the celebrations.
Finally after some energetic dancing in front of the palace, people entered inside. Devesh as usual was in the end. All the main relatives moved forward for meeting with girl's relatives and all the other to meet the food counters. Finally there were 2-3 friends who were with groom, making him feel that there is no behind him now and we are the only one who are caring for him. It took quite a while before, mare was set free and groom landed on the earth. As a normal tradition, there was a ribbon waiting for him. There was no gate, so two poles were arranged for that. The sister in laws of hero were waiting for their dear jiju to fill their pockets.

After some expected arguments and bargaining over the amount, devesh was allowed to enter the hall where there were lots of photography skills displayed by the camera men. There were around 4-5 camera men taking pics and video making job of people like me much tougher. So I stopped taking pics of the hot property of the night. Don't take it otherwise, I am mentioning Devesh only :).
I take a round of the palace. It was quite a big hall. Indoor area was bigger as compared to outdoor area making it idle for the marriages even in case of rain.

There were few people inside the hall. It becomes tougher for the many people from the girl's side to come to marriage if it is outside their home town. It usually leaves only close relatives and friends. There
were good arrangements for the regular snacks and fruit chats. Devesh was made to sit on the centre stage and left for us to attend. All the relatives were finishing up their final arrangements for the marriage. We tried to feed the groom as there was some time before the dinner for the couple. After some snaps with the groom, wait for the bride started. There is no value of groom even on his D-day without his better half. Mean while got chance to have a talk with Devesh. He was as normal as on any day. May be he has seen so much in last few days that there was no
much excitement or nervousness left in him. Finally girl of the day arrived and all the heads turned to her. We usually talk about groom being tortured for all day on his D-day but after looking at the bride, it all looks negligible. Though looking gorgeous in ethnic wear and jewellery, it was really tough for her to even  sit, leave alone walking. But it was her day and essentially she should look the most beautiful girl on the earth. After she reached near the stage, our hero stood up and climbed up the erupted rotatable stage which is a fashion now a days.
As a sense of responsibility, Devesh lent a hand to Dipti (first time I mentioned bride's name:)) and there were loads of wooing.

And yessss, one more thing a flower was also
given to Dipti by none other than our hero. As you can see in the pic, couple seems to be quite happy with each other. I believe, there is this happy nature of the bride which will keep Devesh happy too.
Its very hard to ignore a smile as it is infectious and it looks like spreading on all the faces. Finally the couple reached the top of the stage after lots of photography and clapping.
After reaching the top, holding hands, some rotation
and showering of flowers, both exchanged garlands with each other and each and every person who is having any camera, can't resist taking a snap of them.

Both were looking very beautiful together. This is the only time when I think how beautiful Indian marriages are. Everyone around was happy making bride and groom happier. Though I don't like this rotation procedure as it may cause some unwanted accident due to unbalance specially in the condition when bride is not able to even walk properly still every thing else was beautiful.

After this, there were regular photographs with bride and groom of the relatives and friends on the stage

We too had some pics with the couple and then parted away. I spent some time with Devesh's parents talking about Devesh and Dipti. It is really great to talk with parents when they are so happy. Being with friends and parents, had to shake a leg on dance floor and then went outside where normal boy's thing on marriage was going on. After having the boozing effect, everyone become your fast friend and share a conversation with completely unknown people mostly on love marriages and arrange marriage.

After some time, it was time for dinner and thus we had light dinner with the families. I was as usual silent and did not talk much. Good thing was that, there were straight marriage after dinner. There was no further time spent on photography. In the start itself, we put the devesh's shoes in the car to avoid any bargaining. After most of the time was spent with Devesh in the rituals, bride was brought to mandap.  Marriage went smoothly. There were lots of laughter as both bride and groom were ready to accept all the promises with out even bothering to listen. Happiness was all around and Devesh was centre of our all the jokes. Even devesh's mummy sat with us for some time and made fun of him with us. There was one instance of devesh's love for coffee which made us laugh a lot also. Check the pic of never before seen pic of groom sipping coffee in the mandap :)

Finally everything went happily. Some sadness in the end as the bride's and relatives' weeping made the environment some what heavy but finally everyone was happy. We reached Devesh's home in Gurpreet's car before the couple.
Some rituals were followed. We were in hurry to take 4 AM bus and so even after insistence of Devesh's mummy, we took blessings and our shagan and reached bus stand again in Gurpreet's car. We thanked Gurpreet for helping us so much and took our respective buses to attend office next day. Quite hectic it was still quite enjoyable. Clearly Friends are essential to make any moment enjoyable!!!

Thanks for reading it till here. Hope you enjoyed the wedding atleast a fraction of what I did.

Post your comments to let me know your view.

Cheers!!!!

Mere Brother ki Dulhan - Regular dose of Rom-com

Frankly speaking, I was having no much interest in watching this movie except watching Ali Zafar in it after a long time. Dont take it otherwise, I liked his comic timing in Tere Bin Laden and even though knowing that he will be side lined in front of Imran khan and Katrina Kaif, I had some interest in it. But this is not a sufficient reason for watching it in a multiplex spending around 250 rs.

The main and only reason was my younger brother who due to some valid reasons was attached to the title of the movie. He likes Ali Zafar's acting too. Once I said to him that we will go to watch this movie when it will be released and he took no time to ask me to complete my promise after its release. Although I am not Salman Khan yet I can complete these small commitments atleast.

After some unexpected crowd at the ticket counter more because of BodyGuard fans, we got the tickets and entered the hall approx 10 minutes late. I believe we did not miss much.

Coming to the movie, it was a regular affair. Imran khan is back to his usual role after some change in Delhi Belly. I must say, he is perfect in these kind of roles. Even after watching him doing almost same thing in most of his movies, he looks quite natural in acting and delivering dialogues with full enthusiasm. Ali Zafar has not been given much scope but he is able to generate some laughs by his pakistani accent and facial expressions. Must say he is completely wasted.

Finally, main attraction of the movie, Katrina Kaif. She is looking as beautiful as she can look with her new hairstyle in the first part and I think she should have been given that much work only. To look beautiful and keep on distracting the audience from really no story no comedy plot. But to the extreme of my horrors, she has been given quite a big share of dialogues and when she tried to act, I felt like banging my head on the front chair but that was quite far. She made the horrible memories of Azab Prem ki Gazab Kahani refreshed where she tried to do comedy and acting both. She looks cute when she smiles and keep her eyes half closed. As soon as she opens her eyes and mouth, I just felt like getting in some time machine and got through that scene.

Coming to the plot. Is n't it a joke itself? All of you know must be knowing it. Still let us dedicate a single line. A boy find bride for his NRI brother, both fell in love with each other and then try to convince brother to get out of their path by making him fall in love with his first love. Story Over. Now around this single line add some comedy scenes, some romantic songs, item songs, some melodrama and movie is ready. Music is OK. 1-2 songs are hummable. Rest you may forget after getting out of hall.

Humour is not that much and seems to be forced. I must say people were laughing in theater even in no humour scenes. They might be laughing on them selves for spending so much. But I dont have that much sense of humour. The only thing I liked in the movie was mention of Panipat, my home town where Imran khan went to look for bride.

Watch this movie if you have nothing else to do and cant wait to watch Katrina Kaif in her most beautiful version on television in 1-2 months.

BOL Movie - Very Bold but Sensible

Though quite late in writing about this movie which released around 10 days back along with Salman's usual south Indian  movie's remake Body Guard. It is personal choice whether they want to see these south indian movies in original on channels like Set Max or the duplicate movies with half sleep walking hero in theaters.

None the less I was waiting for Bol to be released in India. Movie is directed by Pakistani director Shoaib Mansoor who earlier made critically acclaimed Khuda kay liye. I have not been able to see that movie still though I am having that for more than 1 year. It happens, when you wish for something and get that thing later on, you lose the passion.

Enough of history, coming to the current movie. As the name suggested and presence of Atif Aslam, I believed this is going to be musical movie with story of some singer. But when I went through reviews, I came to know that this is a hard hitting movie with sensitive subject. Though made in pakistan with the pakistani backdrop, still it is relevant to most of the Indian rural part too.

Movie starts with a girl who is going to be hanged to death for killing his father, telling her story to reporters. Humaima Malik as Zainub is the lead character as a brave girl who is one of the 7 daughters of a Hakim. Hakim sahab keep on trying for a boy. Finally a boy is born but unfortunately a hermaphrodite( a boy with characteristics of girl) named as Saif. Hakim Sahab thought about killing him but mother denied. Family condition was very poor due to very less clients of hakim. Zainub got married and divorced soon due to family issues with her husband so came back to her parents' house. Saif grew and started showing interest in wearing woman's clothes. One of the daughter of Hakim, Ayesha loves Atif as Mustafa who is going to be a doctor. Atif arranges a job for Saif as a truck painter. But Saif got raped and later on killed by his own father to save his pride.

Zainub keeps on fighting with her father but could not do anything. Her arguments with her father on cricket matches, Quran and real meaning of written in it are the best part of the movies. There are lots of great scenes to be seen in movie like how Hakim sahab who was not willing to take money from a Kanjar(Saqa) has to sleep with Saqa's daughter to make her pregnant with girl child to get money to save himself from Police after killing his own son, how he use to wash the paper money and iron them to make them pure as they were coming from a Kanjar, a reporter trying to reach president of pakistan in night to stop the hanging of Zainub after hearing her story and many more.

Movie is filled with hard hitting scenes. Though a bit longer(around 2.5 hrs) and missing even a bit of humour, you are bound to be stick to it. There are some dialogues in pure urdu but still body language of actors never make the movie going above head. Performances are  very strong and I must say one of the best performances I have ever seen by Humaima Malik and Manzar Shebai(Hakim Sahab). You may feel anger as well as pity on the situation of  Hakim as a conservative father of 7 daughters. Humaima played a very strong character as a daughter who never hesitates to keep her thoughts in front of her father.

Movie is certainly bold handling very sensitive topics but never being vulgar. It is a lesson for all those film makers who shows vulgar scenes saying the demand of script. If you like to see a movie with a strong story then don't dare to miss this as very less meaningful movies come now a days especially Indian film makers who have found south indian remake with 45 + heroes as a money earning formula.

Though Mere Brother ki Dulhan has released today with same old story with some new dialogues, I will recommend Bol with some thing new to offer in old backdrop.

In the end, its ur wish whether u want to do a favour to Salman Khan even though he is not asking for any favour (Remember mujh par 1 ehsaan karna ki mujh par koi ehsaan na karna :)) or do yourself a favour by watching some great cinema.

Have a great day!!!

Please leave comments what ever you think. Thanks for reading till now :)

One More Blast's makeup

Till yesterday afternoon I was not aware that there has been a blast in Delhi and that too in High Court which is one of the most crowded and should be most secured area too. It was my friend Gagandeep who told me about this blast at the lunch time. Frankly speaking, I did not feel anything, neither any terror nor any sorrow and not even any anger. May be I have become so insensitive or it has become the nature of most of us. I will not say all of us as I am not sure even about myself.

I did not react at all as nothing has happened. Till now 12 people have died and 90 are injured. But for me it was like nothing has happened. As usual we talked about general issues like recession, onsite and money, the only thing we as youth are concerned about now and left for our offices which are nothing more than 1 floor in mountain like buildings. It did not come across my mind in the whole day as it has become a usual thing for us.

When I came back to room and sit in front of my only room mate, my television set, all the news channels were flooded with the news of Blast which was expected. I don't think they have to do anything new whenever a blast happens. "Till when we will bear the terrorism?", "Who is responsible for this?" Same is for political parties, "We will keep on fighting terrorism", "This blast has made our determination to fight terrorism stronger" and all the rubbish. Police has published the cartoon sketches of terrorist responsible which can be matched even with your relatives or your friends. Again a team has been formed to find the evidences. What will they do even if they find the responsible persons. They will give them the royal treatment like they are doing for Kasaab.

Nothing has changed and will not change even if 100 more blasts happen. The only thing that has been changed is the life of affected people in the blast. They will remember this day the whole of their life. Some have lost even their sole bread earner at the amount of 2 lakhs rupees which government will provide, not sure even that they will get. Worse is the situation of the badly injured one. They will not be live their life normally from now on, mostly being a burden on their families. No one can feel the pain of them. 2-3 days will pass and the channels which are showing their stories will move on to some other so called breaking news and all the affected people will be lost in the dark to live their lives on their own.

Question is what we can do? Even if there are relief funds and you can donate thousands of rupees, will it be helpful to spend their lives. Answer is known to all of us. After some days, other blast will happen, more people will be killed and many will be injured. It could be any of us or any known of us. We and our relatives can not do anything in that case too apart from crying.

Every time when a blast happens, every one used to say there has not been a single blast in USA after 9/11. But why not any one try to understand how that has happened. They followed step by step approach:-

1. First of all they tightly closed their doors for any one whom they have even little doubt on. All the software engineers must be aware of this fact that how difficult has become to enter USA now.

2. They destroyed their enemies to the hell. You can criticize USA as much as you like for killing innocent people in the way but the end result is that no innocent american has been killed thereafter.

People will keep on blaming Police for in efficiency. Just think yourself, how can police be known of the possible blasts in such a big country. I am not taking side of any one but once the terrorists and the explosives enter the boundaries of India, they can even force the police men to do bomb blast anywhere by black mailing them for their families. The only solution to stop this is to stop illegal trafficking of humans and materials which can be done by the government only who seems to be the most dis interested in doing anything which does not give scope of any scams.

If it is not going to happen, then our rubber stamp a.k.a our prime minister will keep on visiting the victims and wounded victims will be dressed up properly like a school function is happening in the same way as yesterday has happened.

There is no need of make up of these blast victims, they are forced to live their lives in this way because of impotency of these leaders only and one day it may happen to any one of us too. I am neither optimistic nor pessimistic. Have just passed my life on the mercy of these terrorists like all of us.

Till then keep on Breathing and hoping for the best. The only thing we can do to try to be happy till the last breath.

P.S.  The day ended with a noticeable earth quake for Delhi people which gave them another reason to terrify. However our mother nature is much more kind to us than our government :)

Anna ka Emotional Atyachaar......

On a lazy weekend (my all weekends are lazy though) I was surfing through the channels on TV in

my home, when I stopped for a moment on bindaas, where their most popular show emotional atyachar was coming. If you have ever wasted your time on this show, then you must have seen that most of the time an average or sometimes even below average looking  person conducts a so called loyalty test on his/her partner by serving him/her a very good looking person often a model. And as expected the
other person gets failed and  beaten by the so called Lead of the test. Mostly both ask same question, why you have done this with me? The cheater often says, you are not loyal too. You are also bad. You have so and so bad things and all the rubbish.

My younger brother was sitting beside me. He said, when you are offering an exceptionally good looking person to a below average looking person who is in relationship with a person like him only, why not he will take the offer. He will be called a fool to do otherwise. So atyachaar is not on the Lead but on the person who is giving the test.

Now think about the current situation, Anna Hazare is on fast from 16th August second time in 4 months. A 74 years old person trying to fight corruption by keeping himself starved. 4 months back our innocent government gave him commitment that we will fulfil all of your demands. Anna thought that they are loyal and happily ended the fast. But when the real time to implement the bill came, our dear MPs said, ohh we have not said that we will do everything you have said. We can do this and this only. Rest is your wish. Government thought that we are successful in ending the fast and now no need to do anything. Like a boy has trapped a girl and can do anything now making her fool.

So Anna decided to go to public and loyalty test and our government like a cheater boyfriend started saying why are you doing this. You yourself are corrupt. This is insult of parliament and blackmailing. We have paid so much to earn this money. This is our right. Why are you ruining all this. But Anna is not ready to accept it and this time it is not a TV channel who is conducting this test. This is real public who is doing it. Also this is not like leaving a girl and going with other for the cheater. Here the girlfriend is not just going to beat the BF, shed some tears and go away for his cheating. This is like giving the power to hold these politicians who are like a cheater boyfriend by their necks, beat them and not leaving them eligible to take any other power or cheat anyone else.

Like everyone else, you might be supporting Anna against the corruption who has named this protest as second battle of freedom, but have you ever spare a thought about our innocent politicians who cant express their pain publicly. After these you will also agree this is emotional atyachaar on our politicians.

Please listen to them once. Some of the points are:-

1. How can you force us making this bill in this way? Come by proper channel. Stand in election, win it and then make as many bills as you want.

Means:- If you are even slightly sensitive, you can feel the pain. They have spent so much money to buy election ticket. There is not that much competition in IIT or IIM as in getting an election ticket. After getting ticket, so much money is spent in winning the election. Money is spent like water on beer and distributing among the voters. Then so much mind is spent in earning that money back and you want to get the bill against us by us only.

2. You are corrupt. Why you are blaming us only?

Means: We accept we are corrupt. We have earned money as we have got the chance. We have not done anything special and anything for which we should be criticized or jailed. Everyone will do it when get a chance and be aware you are corrupt too so you are our brother and stop creating mess for yourself too. Though all the allegations proved to be false later on. But none of the politicians have never been proved to be criminal also in our history also. Then what is the fuss.

3. We cannot allow any one to sit on our heads making a supreme government.

Means:- We have spent so much money and the public only has sent us in the parliament and you will just come, sit hungry for some days and will become our supreme without spending any money. Though anna has cleared that they dont want to govern them, they just want to investigate all the scams. They dont want power to take actions. But investigation means always an eye on them and Anna is saying are they asking for too much? How can they allow this?

4. General public is not affected by the scams done by the people whom they want to put under lokpal i.e. MPs.

Means:- See the innocence of our politicians. They say public is affected by corruption of low level. What ever we do is at highest level. If we are doing 2G scam or CWG scam, then what public has to do with it. So we should not come under the corruption bill. How cute. They are saying like the money which they spent on stupid common wealth games had come from their parents. Our TDS get deducted before getting our salary so that they can be paid and they say that you should not be affected by it.

5. Anna is Old and should not fast. Younger people should do it.

Means:-  What a caring govt. Everyone knows why so many people is getting attracted towards this protest. Its only Anna Hazare whom people are believing even though many people just know that something is going to happen against corruption. People think what can be the reason apart from patriotism for a 74 years old alone person to force for this bill. I doubt if mastermind Arvind Kejriwal would have been on fast, however relevant this issue might be for public, so much support was almost impossible. BJP has used Atal bihari and Congress has used mahatma gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and now Manmohan singh for this. So government innocently suggested this as this is their weapon and should not be used against them.

There are lots and lots of points which our innocent or rather stupid politicians are saying daily. I am not that much optimistic about this bill. If you think yourself, how can corrupt politicians let a bill pass which can put themselves into trouble. Like a dialogue in a recent movie "Office Office" on corruption, "Hum sarkari karamchaari hain koi beemari nhi jo theek ho jaaye (we are government employees, not a disease which can be cured)."

People are chanting Vande Matram in the rallies but they just want our politicians to get arrested. As per govt, corruption is like convenience charges so what is the problem. The people protesting are the same people who break signal and get ready with 100 rs note to pay traffic officer, these are the same people who travel without ticket and pay TT 150 rs to let them travel without any issue. They will not wear helmets for their security only and will blame traffic officers if they catch them. They will not pay the postpaid mobile bills and just change the number. They dont want to change themselves but want to end corruption. They are able to see 280 laks crores in Swiss banks but what about that when these protesting shopkeepers loot their own people by charging even more than MRP sometimes and dont provide the bills also to avoid taxes.

Untill people change themselves, even hundreds of bills cant end corruption. Getting this bill passed is tough but implementing it successfully will be much much tougher as only humans are going to execute it and human beings are the only animals who are prone to corruption. Even if we have so called highly educated prime minister but he is no more than a bubble gum who everyone chews and spits and he is always in silent mode like a remote controlled toy.

7th pass Anna Hazare is fighting against the corruption and our Ph.D. prime minister is waiting for his madam to come so that he can utter a word written by her. What ever may be the outcome but government has to sweat for some more time till Anna can continue his fast. No one has expected this much support including government and they are just waiting for one of 2 things to happen. Either people to cool down and get back to work or Anna's condition to become some what worse so that fast is ended. They are waiting for Tuesday as monday is holiday for them. But I have to go to office. So have to leave now.

Though I am not going to protest in Ramleela ground and wearing black dress in the office for support like I heard many software engineers, still if it matters to support it sitting in office using FB then please support it. Getting this bill may be like doing exercise for sometimes. It may not help you much in burning fat still doing something is better than doing nothing :)

Bye. Take care.

Bye Bye Dear Noida

However it has been 7 days since I have left Noida still it is not out of my mind. You can not forget any place so easily where you have spent your more than 2.5 years of life. So it deserves a small mention at least on my website. There have been many experiences with this city good and bad both but if you feel good then nothing is bad.

New Okhla Industrial Development Association aka NOIDA as known to most of us comes under NCR that means we can have the facilities like Water, electricity, mobile and broadband plans are like Delhi and here the similarity ends. You may say that development of flats and roads and industry is because of Delhi  too but it is just because of not like. There are lots of things those need to be improved for it to be similar to national capital like police, traffics, transport services, metro reach etc, etc.

Chalo chodo. Our ancestors have always said," Jitna mile usme khush raho" (Be satisfied in what you get) and I try to implement this in my life. The first time I reached noida through a direct bus from ISBT to Sec 62 and that was one of the 2 times that I was able to get direct bus in 2.5 years. This area I really want to improve. There is very high volume of people who have to take auto and then 2 metros to reach Kashmeree gate ISBT which can be done by a single bus only either by DTC or UPRTC. No reason why they are ignoring. Ohho again started complaining. Human nature :)

On the first day of office, itself, one thing was clear to me that it is not easy to commute in Noida without your own vehicle. One reason was the area where my company gave me accommodation for 10 days and other reason was great timings of my project more suitable to client. So I took a single room near to my office with help of my cousin brother. Room was more of a servant quarter than a home but as I was always going to my home on weekends so it was inexpensive way of living here.

Noida is more famous for its crime graph rather than development as it is quite near to Ghaziabad and nearby UP areas. But I used to come by walk most of the time even at 3:30 in the night always having a belief that you need not be coming in night alone to be robbed. You can be robbed in the day light also if robbers decide to do so. Also what robbers will get from me, a 3 years old phone and some money. So I always walked away from office at any time I wanted and thanks to god and my well wishers that the 3 years old phone is still with me.

If I was not at home or office, then only one place was there where I can go. TOT mall, dont go over the name, it is just a small open shopping complex in sector 62 having shops of general requirements like eating places, juice corners, book stalls, medical shops and general stores. My dinner if I was going to do outside office was always there. Speciality of this complex is that here you will get more ATMs at same place than any other complex.

The main place of shopping or time pass in Noida is Sector 18 or Atta market. If you dont have anything to do or want to buy some thing branded or non-branded then it is the one point destination. I visited this place some times mostly GIP mall for some shopping and some meetings with my very good friend. Always crowded and great time pass. I wasted some money too but it was very less as compared to what I spent in chennai or hyderabad malls.

When talking about the movies apart from watching downloaded movies, I watched movies in last 2 weeks only in Noida both in Spice cinemas. Experience was not that great but good and expensive. Everything looks good when you are with you friends.

There are many memories associated with Noida which will be with me for long time.

1. The first thing that comes to my mind is walking on the road outside my apartments with my very good friend eating ice-cream for hours and hours discussing our concerns, issues or any thing related or unrelated to us. This used to be quite refreshing for me at least.

2. Always taking a shared auto to reach either City Centre Metro or Sector 37 to reach ISBT for taking bus to home and coming back late on Monday by same route to my office.

3. My single room apartment which I believe the most secured place on the Earth with dedicated security guards knowing each and every person of the apartments by face.

4. Eating Ice-cream when coming late to home.

5. Surprised Birthday gift from my friends at 1 AM in the night which I never got in my life before and will not get any time in future too :(.

6. Availability of every thing within 10 minutes walking distance from my home ranging from Paranthas, Couriers, sweets, medicines anything and everything.

7. Coming back to home in My friends' car or at bikes. They are really gems and were very helpful to me.

8. My great great office. Where I learnt lots of things, most importantly office politics.

9. Late night calls which started in Noida due to of lack of sleep. Now I am available 20*7 and sometimes 24*7.

10. So many new friends which I believe will be for long time.

Some things were bad and many things were good. What ever it was, it will always be in my mind and will be compared with all the future cities where I will live but surely it will come in the top cities to live. Love You Noida!!!
