Marriages in IT industry.

Kumar and Sheetal met in a software firm where they got the chance to work in the same project. They need to spend long time together in the office working on the project assignments. They started liking each other and after over coming some resistance by the families, eventually got married. Kumar changed the job for the higher salary while Sheetal keep on working in same organization.

Now as the work timings got different, they started spending less time together. Sheetal was assigned a US based project with tough deadlines so she had to stay for late night meetings and work. The project dead lines started to interfere in their lives. Kumar's nature became annoying and he used to have fights on her priorities. Some times they even don't talk for days and thus relationship started to break.

After 2 years, Sheetal got pregnant so she resigned from her job and went to her parents. She gave birth to a boy. Kumar came to see the child, spend 2 weeks and then went back to job. After that he neither calls her back nor responded to her call. When he was forcefully asked to talk about this, he replied, "what is the proof that he is my child? However I am in love with some one else."

Sheetal broke down after this and thus their marriage is heading towards a divorce. This is a true story of a couple and this is not a rare one. Although IT industry made India a superpower financially but it has made India much poorer in relationships. If majority of marriages are happenings in IT industry then majority of the divorces  happenings in India are in IT industries too. TV and cinema culture has made divorces like a normal thing which used to be stigma in Indian culture.
